History of the Question
Understanding gender identity is crucial for analyzing equity in the service design field. This question has been a part of our survey since the earliest versions. In 2025, we updated the wording to its current form to be more inclusive and clear.

Note: We only show the median salary based on the data from people at agencies and in-house (excluding freelance).
Gender Pay Gap by Country
This chart visualizes the percentage difference in median salary between Men and Women for each country.
- Bars to the right indicate that Men earn more.
- Bars to the left indicate that Women earn more.
- The center line (0%) represents Equal Pay.
